Essential Duties and Responsibilities The described are considered essential to the job and representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions.
Qualified individuals must have the ability with or without reasonable accommodation to perform the following functions.
Act as key contact between business stakeholders and IT leveraging Microsoft Business Central ERP.
Identify and validate the business needs and requirements by mapping out current-state, and identifying gaps (process, data capture, and /or technology).
Recommend solutions to close gaps and implement operational efficiency.
Designs optimal data architecture to support the business needs and requirements by initiating new projects, discovery, and mock-up for each stage of ERP process.
Create/Troubleshoot necessary EDI connections from current VAN to ERP system.
Integrate API solutions in ERP to ensure that other programs can access the data from ERP applications.
Review all data tables, propose change requirements, and evaluate impact to all cross-functional partners.
Leverage IT and BI counterparts to support business needs & requirements by partnering with outsourced IT vendor to develop ERP.
Involvement in project planning -- developing systems and guardrails to support the organization and keep projects on track.
Familiarity with network's system administration, active directory, and availability for technical support.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Deep knowledge of Dynamics Business Central, including backend data structure and development processes.
Knowledge of EDI platform as it pertains to ERP sales order and outbound document automation.
Database management concepts and writing SQL queries in a production environment Deep knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Finance/Accounting operations, process, and procedures.
2-3 years of experience of all skills listed above.
Education Bachelor's degree preferred.
