Tremendous 1966 Chevy Corvette Sting Ray Convertible The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Benicia showroom is this gorgeous 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray 2 Door Convertible with signature Rally Red exterior paint, a black soft top and a matching black vinyl interior.
You'll find a 427 cid V-8 engine under the hood that's paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, custom side exhaust, power steering, aftermarket wheels and so much more.
This highly desirable mid-year Corvette delivers incredible performance as well and it is ready for the next owner to enjoy right away.
Powerful 427 V-8 Engine & 4-Speed Manual Gearbox The current owner of this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible took possession in 2012 and unfortunately, we do not have a complete picture of it's life history as we only have receipts dating back to 2006.
We can tell you that this beautiful roadster was completely redone starting in 2006.
During the restoration the original 327 V-8 was replaced with a 427 cubic inch engine and the car was repainted in the original Rallye Red.
The interior was also redone in its original black vinyl.
This Corvette runs strong with excellent overall handling, this is a classic that simply begs to be driven.
It could easily be someone's daily or weekend driver.
In terms of condition, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Roadster has gorgeous body lines with above average exterior paint that shows only minor blemishes.
