Highly Desirable 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly original 1965 Ford Mustang C Code 2 Door Convertible with blue exterior paint and a matching blue vinyl interior.
You'll find a factory c-code 289 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission and this iconic muscle car has been driven and maintained by the same family since it left the factory showroom in Arlington, Texas in 1965.
This classic is in excellent overall shape as a true survivor as well and it is ready for the next owner to enjoy.
One-Owner Classic Originally Purchased in Arlington, TX The current owner informs us that this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible has remained in her family for the past 56 years and it has been driven and enjoyed almost that entire time.
As you can see from the photographs, the body alignment is excellent throughout and the exterior paint still has a lot of shine.
There are some scratches and other imperfections to be found and the factory interior seating does show some small rips/tears as well.
The engine compartment is also driver-level in appearance since it has not been refreshed; only the factory transmission has been rebuilt over the years.
Additionally, this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible drives well on the open road with factory equipment and technology.
For example, you'll find the original AM radio still in place and factory consoles, gauges, shift knobs, etc.
throughout.
The convertible top is manual and still operates correctly as well.
While the next owner may opt for new upholstery on the interior seating (or simply seat covers to keep it original), this classic does not require anything to be driven and enjoyed at high levels.
Almost Completely Original Overall, this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible is a gorgeous survivor that's been properly documented and cared for throughout its life.
This classic will appeal to a wide variety of collectors since it can be enjoyed today as a typical driver or completely restored into something truly special.
Come see it today before it's back in a private collection! For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at email protected ( mailto:
