Nicely Maintained 1950 Ford F1 Panel Truck New to our Pleasanton showroom is this impressive 1950 Ford F1 2 Door Panel Truck with green and black exterior paint, and red leather interior.
You'll find the original factory correct 226 cid straight-six engine under the hood with a 3-speed on the floor manual transmission and a 12V electrical system (converted from the original 6V).
This rare survivor has been maintained over its lifetime, and it's one of the few remaining that hasn't been chopped, resto-modded or converted into something else! It's very rare to find a '50 Ford Panel Truck of this caliber, so do not expect for it to remain available for long.
Highly Original w/ Factory 226 Straight-Six Motor This 1950 Ford F1 Panel Truck has a great life story since it includes very little unknowns.
For the first five decades of its lifetime, it served as a work truck for a house painter in Oklahoma.
The current owner took possession in 2008 due to the excellent overall originality of this example, and he repainted the exterior with a great color combination, plus re-upholstered the front driver's seat in red leather.
This example was produced from the factory without a passenger's seat included so that's how it remained- the rear bench, also upholstered in red leather was added by the current owner.
Additionally, this 1950 Ford F1 Panel Pickup shows well in person with a nice patina and minimal dings, scratches and blemishes.
The exterior was resprayed about 12 years ago and it still has a nice shine to it.
New AutoMeter gauges have been installed as well to the highly original interior.
Likewise, the engine compartment could use refreshing since it's unknown if its ever been restored/rebuilt.
